Visit to Tobago by Public Affairs Officer Kirsten Michener
Public Affairs Officer (PAO) Kirsten Michener visited Tobago March 23-25 to meet with partners and stakeholders. She met with Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Chief Secretary Farley Augustine; Tobago’s Secretary for Tourism and Culture Tashia Burris; member of the Muslim Round Table Kameal Ali, with a visit to the al-Tawbah Mosque; Tobago’s Secretary of Education, Assemblymember Zorisha Hackett and the Administrator of Education Denese Toby-Quashie.
Kirsten also included a site visit to TEMA’s head office, the inauguration of Women of Substance’s Shangri-La Women’s Empowerment Center, and the opening of the U.S. Embassy’s e-sports program at Goodwood Secondary School. She met with Tobagonian journalists, Academy of Women Entrepreneurs participants and a Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) alumna, and Tobago cultural heritage representatives at Fort King George.
