United States donates computer equipment to T&T’s Transnational Organized Crime Unit

U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Shante Moore hands over one of six office and five mobile computer workstations to Minister of National Security Fitzgerald Hinds.

October 16, 2021: U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Shante Moore on October 15 handed over six office and five mobile computer workstations at a value of US$26,200 to the Transnational Organized Crime Unit (TOCU) of the Ministry of National Security.  Minister of National Security Fitzgerald Hinds accepted the donation.  The computers will assist the TOCU to analyze and produce intelligence products for local and international law enforcement agencies in our collaborative efforts to disrupt and dismantle transnational organized criminal organizations involved in narcotics, firearms, human trafficking, and smuggling.
