The Embassy of the United States of America and the High Commission of Canada will jointly host the 19th annual College Fair at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Wrightson Road in Port of Spain on November 5 and 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day. This is the first in-person fair in two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This free public event is one of the largest tertiary education fairs in the region. This year, 50 colleges and universities are confirmed to participate, of which 20 U.S. and 30 Canadian institutions will be represented. Their representatives will be available to answer questions on applications, admissions, visas, scholarships, and financing.
The U.S. Embassy will host a full schedule of information sessions on both days. Topics will include the student visa application process, scholarships and funding opportunities, and preparing for standardized tests.
Members of the public are invited to attend. Pre-registration is required. A link to registration is on the U.S. Embassy’s website at tt.usembassy.gov.
Members of the media are invited to provide coverage.
