Shareda Hosein, a Trini-American Muslim in partnership with the Embassy participated in several outreach activities from Nov 7-14. She engaged with Muslim and Religious Leaders, students and the media. Some of the issues discussed included countering violent extremism, gender equality and sharing her experiences as a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army Reserve (Retired). She also spoke at a symposium addressing the topic of Children At Risk.
