National Youth Science Camp 2022 Participants

On July 6, the five students representing T&T in the 2022 National Youth Science Camp met with Public Affairs Officer (PAO) Kirsten Michener and Assistant PAO Rose Rodgers. They are Rajeev Dwarika, Shiva Boys’ Hindu College; Brianna Merritt, San Juan South Secondary; Megan Modeste, Bishop Anstey High School; Sabihah Mohammed, St. Augustine Girls’ High School; and Akilah Bonnette, Bishop Anstey Trinity College East. The camp started on June 27 and ends July 20.
Every year the U.S. Embassy and the National Institute for Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (NIHERST) provide scholarships for sixth form students to attend the National Youth Science Camp in West Virginia, USA. In 2022, the camp is virtual.
