September 4, 2015: Thirty naturalist guides whose responsibility it is to share information and connect visitors to important natural and historical resources at parks, nature centers and historical sites around Trinidad and Tobago are now certified in interpretive guide training, thanks to a grant from the Embassy.
Americans Fran McReynolds and Karin Hostetter from the Colorado based National Association for Interpretation (NAI) conducted the five-day training.
The program is meant to increase environmental awareness and build capacity in the tourist sector.
