Ambassador Joseph Mondello and Mrs. Mondello yesterday afternoon (Oct 16, 2018) met, greeted and chatted with Embassy staff at a Town Hall. Ambassador and Mrs. Mondello said they were extremely pleased to be in Trinidad and Tobago and eager to begin working with the entire Embassy team.
Ambassador Mondello and his family arrived in Trinidad and Tobago on Monday evening. He officially assumes duties after the presentation of his Letters of Credence to President Paula Mae Weekes.
President Trump appointed Joseph N. Mondello as U.S. Ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago on July 2, after the full Senate confirmed him on June 28.
