In recognition of February as Black History Month and Women’s History Month, observed in March, the Embassy hosted a movie viewing party of “Hidden Figures” for students of the Woodbrook Secondary School on February 27.

Foreign Service Officer Leshawna Johnson led a discussion following the movie to provide students with context in terms of U.S. history, comparing the movie to present day and highlighting connections between the U.S. and Trinidad and Tobago.
