The State Department advises U.S. citizens overseas to exercise increased caution because of increased tensions around the world and the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations, or violent actions against U.S. citizens and interests.
On January 17 Ambassador Candace Bond paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Keith Rowley at the Prime Minister’s Office, Whitehall. Also in attendance were Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Dr. Amery Browne; Minister of Energy and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Stuart Young; and the U.S. Embassy’s Political Chief Megan Kelly.
Ambassador Bond reiterated that Trinidad and Tobago has no greater friend and partner than the United States, and pledged to continue to strengthen the bond between our two great countries.
