On January 30, Ambassador Candace Bond and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Caribbean Regional Office Director Dr. Emily Kainne Dokubo paid a courtesy call to Minister of Health Terrance Deyalsingh at the Ministry’s Port of Spain office. They discussed the U.S government’s health assistance to Trinidad and Tobago to strengthen its health systems and to achieve HIV epidemic control. The principals also visited a CDC #PEPFAR-supported site, the Medical Research Foundation.
